A family run business with one aim, to build solid, sustainable outdoor furniture & buildings
All of our products are handcrafted right here in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands
After spending day after day searching stores and online for the perfect outdoor furniture for our house we were amazed that we couldn’t find anything hardwearing enough to meet the demands of an active outdoor environment for a budget. So we set about designing and building a set for ourselves. We had a previous knowledge of woodworking and an eye for design, armed with this we set about the task. A few hours later we’d created what would ultimately become the Alton Range. With the set finished we snapped a few photos and put an advert online and within a few hours we were arranged a courier to collect the set for delivery. It took over 4 years until we actually created a set for home due to the demand for our sets!
Since starting the business in a workshop at home we have now moved in to a much larger purpose designed premises which houses all of the team from admin offices, custom designed workshop and finishing areas. Over our journey we have constantly developed additional ranges to match needs identified by clients and love to create bespoke solutions for clients. A recent addition to the business is the Shepherds Hut & outdoor buildings team where we can design build and deliver solutions to match customers needs. We are constantly growing our offerings but always staying true to only build solutions we’d be proud to have in our own garden. If we don’t like it we simply won’t build it.
